Accounts and eligibility
Provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and use MoBased only in compliance with applicable law. You must be at least 13 to use the community and at least 18 to purchase, sell, fund prizes, receive payouts, or enter binding agreements. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Memberships and billing
Paid memberships are shown in U.S. dollars and renew automatically for the selected monthly or yearly period until canceled. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method provided at checkout, including applicable taxes. You may cancel through the billing portal; access continues through the paid period unless the membership is ended earlier for fraud or a serious violation.
Marketplace services
Producers, engineers, and other creators are independent service providers responsible for the accuracy, quality, timing, and legality of their listings and work. Buyers and sellers must use the order workflow, keep project records, communicate honestly, and deliver only content they are authorized to use. MoBased may hold or release payment according to the order status and may review disputes and evidence.
Song Wars
- Hosts set an event’s format, timing, song length, and prize amount. Entry and voting must not be sold or used for wagering.
- A host-funded prize is collected through Stripe and is not paid to a winner until the event is completed and the winner is confirmed.
- Winners must complete Stripe identity and payout onboarding before receiving funds. Payout timing also depends on Stripe and the recipient’s financial institution.
- Manipulated voting, fake accounts, harassment, rights violations, bribery, or coordinated abuse can result in removal, disqualification, withheld payout, or account action.
- MoBased may cancel or correct an event when required for safety, fraud prevention, technical failure, or legal compliance.
Creator merchandise
Merch sellers are independent creators responsible for accurate product descriptions, lawful images and designs, inventory, packaging, shipment, tracking, product safety, and customer support. Physical goods initially ship only to U.S. addresses. MoBased processes checkout and routes seller earnings through Stripe but does not manufacture, warehouse, inspect, or ship creator merchandise.
Refunds and cancellations
- Memberships may be canceled at any time through the billing portal. Prior charges and partial billing periods are generally nonrefundable unless required by law.
- Marketplace refunds depend on the order, work already delivered, seller agreement, and dispute review. Requests should be made through the relevant order as soon as possible.
- Merch buyers or sellers may request an automatic refund before an order is marked shipped. After shipment, returns, replacements, lost-package claims, and other remedies depend on the seller’s policy, applicable law, and MoBased or Stripe dispute review.
- A Song Wars host may request a prize refund while the event remains open and before the prize is paid. A completed winner payout cannot normally be recalled.
- Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method. Bank processing time is outside MoBased’s control.
Your content and rights
You keep ownership of your content. You grant MoBased the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, display, and moderate it for the service features you choose. You must own or have permission to upload every song, beat, recording, image, file, name, and other work you provide. Do not upload confidential material without authorization.
Acceptable use
Do not infringe rights, impersonate others, scrape or attack the service, evade security, automate fake engagement, distribute malware, exploit minors, threaten users, commit payment fraud, or use MoBased for unlawful activity. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or preserve evidence when reasonably necessary.
Service availability and liability
MoBased is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, creative results, audience growth, event attendance, marketplace income, or that every dispute will be resolved in your favor. To the extent permitted by law, MoBased is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, third-party conduct, or content and services supplied by users.
Changes, enforcement, and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply where permitted by law.
